How do I enroll?

You can enroll immediately online for any of our courses by selecting the course or program of your choice and then purchasing via our secure store with a credit card. You may also pay for the real estate licensing program with a check or money order via mail. All continuing education courses must be purchased with a credit card for immediate enrollment.

To complete your enrollment for the real estate licensing program, you’ll need to download the enrollment agreement form (PDF) and fax the signed copy to Broker College at (303) 635-8064. Please let us know if you need us to fax or mail a copy to you.

Can I start a course or program right away?

Yes, one of main benefits of a distance education program is that you begin studying right away upon enrolling and purchasing. The continuing education courses, as well as the insurance and securities licensing courses are available immediately upon purchase.

The real estate licensing program is available online for study within the same business day if ordered before 3 p.m. mountain time. Otherwise, you will receive your login to the Broker College online learning system the following business day. The associated course materials will arrive via UPS within 3-5 business days.

Is Broker College a state-approved school?

Yes. Broker College is approved and regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Division of Private Occupational Schools.

Do Broker College courses or programs meet Colorado state requirements?

Yes. All real estate courses and programs are approved by the Colorado Division of Real Estate. All insurance courses are approved by the Colorado Division of Insurance.

How soon will I receive my course materials?

Your shipment of materials for the real estate licensing program will arrive in 3-5 business days via UPS. The same is true if you’ve ordered any books, CDs or other merchandise from our online store.

Many Broker College courses, especially continuing education, are Web-based only and do not include shipped materials. The course description should note whether you’ll receive materials or not. Please call or write to us if you have any questions regarding materials, or if you have not received your materials in the specified time above.

How do I earn my REC-33 certificate of completion?

Because Broker College is an approved and regulated private occupational school, it can award the REC-33 certificate of completion to students successfully finishing the real estate licensing program, 168 hours of instruction and six final exams. After passing the six final exams, Broker College will either mail or e-mail the student their copy of the REC-33, necessary to take the official Colorado real estate exam at a Promissor testing center.

How quickly can I complete the real estate licensing program?

The average time for a student to complete this program is 6-8 weeks, but there is no time limit for those students needing more time. The Broker College distance education format offers students the flexibility to complete the program as quickly or as slowly as they want. Ultimately, it’s up to you to decide.

When do I earn my real estate license?

Successfully completing the Broker College program is the first step toward licensing. After earning your REC-33 certificate of completion through Broker College, you will then schedule your Colorado state licensing exam at a Promissor testing center. With a passing score of 75% on the Promissor exam, you will then be eligible to apply for and receive your license.

Is the Broker College learning format right for me?

The Broker College format is designed for busy, independent students needing the flexibility to complete licensing programs and continuing education courses on their own schedule. If you do not have the time or patience to sit in a required classroom setting for 5-8 hours per day or 3-4 hours per evening, then you should seriously consider the Broker College format. Our expert faculty serves a dual role as both your instructor and mentor to ensure you achieve your desired education goals and course completion dates.

How computer literate do I need to be to complete the Broker College program?

Minimal computer skills are necessary in completing this program. You will need to have experience with an Internet browser. Please notify us directly if we can help you navigate any of your courses or the Broker College online learning system. Don’t be afraid to contact us if it will be your first time enrolling in a course online. We’re here to help and we want you to have a great experience discovering the convenience and ease of studying from your own home or office.

How can I get help during the real estate licensing program?

There are many ways to receive help while completing a course or program. For most courses, especially shorter continuing education courses, please call us at (303) 451-1851, or write to us at info@brokercollege.com for immediate assistance. We will respond to all requests or questions within one business day.

How long do I have to complete the program?

Broker College will allow you as much time as necessary to complete the program. There is no course or program expiration. As mentioned previously, Broker College instructors and mentors will encourage you to complete the program according to your specified goals.
